Michael Jackson Pepsi Commercial Accident Video Surfaced

July 15, 2009

After more than two decades, the video of the accident in Michael Jackson’s Pepsi commercial has surfaced. This is the first time a video has surfaced about the accident. There have been some pictures published about the accident but no video was available then.

The accident is said to be the beginning of a lifelong pain for Michael and has been addicted to pain medication. Michael was once treated for pain killer addiction.

Below is the video:

The accident happened in 2004.

Unknown Lifeform Found In A Sewer

July 15, 2009

I have already made a tweet about this one but I decided to blog it here also for those who don’t use Twitter.

This “living thing” was picked up by a snake cam in a sewer in North Carolina. Some thought this has an ET origin but some rejects the idea. Decide for yourself, maybe you have already seen one like this before.

BIG VIRUS IS COMING

July 14, 2009

I just receive an email form a friend with subject “BIG VIRUS IS COMING”. The subject itself is very tempting and I wasn’t able to hold myself and opened it. I know this friend of mine is concerned of me (we’re in the same monkey business called I.T.) that’s why he forwarded the email he also received from a friend ( tnx bai ;) ).

The email goes something like this:

Do not open any message with an attachment entitled POSTCARD FROM BEJING’, regardless of who sent it to you.
It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which ‘burns’ the whole hard disc C of your computer.

==============================

If you receive a mail called ‘POSTCARD FROM BEJING,’ even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer  immediately.
This is the worst virus  announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most  destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and  there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys  the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept. COPY  THIS E-MAIL, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS. REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO  THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US

But this friend of mine has a message in it saying he is not sure if it’s true. So I made a little investigation (feeling FBI huh?) and found this one:

Summary of the eRumor
The eRumor warns of a virus just discovered by Mcafee or Norton and classed by Microsoft as the most destructive ever.

It says the virus destroys “Sector Zero” from the heard disk, sends itself to all the names in your email address book, wipes out the hard disk, and has caused a panic in New York, according to CNN.

It says that the subject will be “A Card for You”, “Virtual Card for You”, or “Postcard.”  Some versions also say the subject will be “Postcard from Hallmark.”

bullet The Truth
This particular email is a hoax—although there has been a real “Postcard” virus.

The hoax has circulated continuously on the Internet since at least 2001.

There is no known virus called “A card for you” or “A virtual card for you.”

In July, 2007, someone added “Postcard” to the story and said that it had been verified as a true virus.

Note: It is true that there was a virus that appeared in the summer of 2007 with a subject line of:  “You’ve received a postcard from a family member.”  There were several other variations of the subject line that talked about a “card” or a “greeting card.”  But that virus had nothing to do with this false warning about “A card for you” or “A virtual card for you” and the warning that CNN had termed it the worst virus ever.

Microsoft, Norton, or McAfee have had nothing to say about it except that it is a hoax.

The CNN part of the eRumor was added by someone along the way.

In June, 2008, someone added that the message in the virus was “POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,” which is also untrue.

So, there you are. Just another hoax in the block meant to spam your inbox.

Google Has A New Logo

July 13, 2009

With the emergence of Microsoft’s Bing, the knights of the mighty Google had their knees trembling. Why? Bing presents  a new interface with beautiful pictures taken from around the world.

That’s great isn’t it? haha but anyway let’s not talk about Bing’s SERP, as some idiots say it’s just a Microsoft Live repackaged with a new dress.

But nevertheless, Google knights see the graphics as a big threat to mighty Google’s throne. Their move? They changed their logo, hoping to hold on to their millions of search disciples.

Below is the new logo and you can decide for yourself if you want to stick to Google or find a new romance with Bing.

Presenting.... Google's New Logo

I’ll remain loyal to Google. As my neighbor says, when he is all alone, with the new logo, sometimes he just Googles himself… :)
